This expanded capability gives engineers and OEMs more flexibility when selecting a sensor for demanding applications where elevated static line pressure must be measured alongside low differential pressure.
The increase from 500 PSI to 1,000 PSI line pressure broadens the range of systems that can benefit from Core’s differential pressure products. Applications such as natural gas filtration, commercial water filtration, oilfield well monitoring, and other high-pressure process environments can now be addressed with greater confidence and fewer design limitations.
Our hazardous area certified differential pressure transducers increased from a 50 PSI measurement range up to 1,000 PSI. This expands the use cases and capabilities of the product to service new applications.
The primary difference between these series is certification. This gives customers a broad selection of options for applications ranging from general industrial use to hazardous location environments.
Built for industrial applications
Core DP transducers are built with 316L stainless steel sensor materials and MEMS media-isolated sensing technology. This combination supports reliable differential pressure measurement in demanding environments where durability and measurement stability are essential.
Each transducer also incorporates industry-proven ASIC technology and is 100% calibrated and tested for maximum performance over the compensated temperature range. With a range of pressure options starting at 0.5 PSID, along with multiple analog voltage and 4-20mA outputs, Core offers flexibility for both new designs and existing systems.
A wide range of electrical connections is available to support seamless integration across industrial platforms.
Applications for high line pressure
High line pressure differential pressure measurement is common in systems where the pressure on both sides of the sensor is elevated, but the actual differential remains relatively small. Core’s expanded 1,000 PSI line pressure offering is well suited for:
