Inside Core Sensors’ Expedite Process
Core Sensors has built a dynamic and flexible business model to support our customers when they need us most. Utilizing technology platforms that provide calibration flexibility combined with LEAN manufacturing, responsive sales and experienced engineers enable the team to deliver expedited services for products in our portfolio.
Standard Expedite Lead Time: 5 to 7 Business Days
Standard Expedite Fee: 20%; fee may vary based on capacity
Our Manufacturing Operation: New Jersey, USA
If your configuration is close to a standard build but needs a tweak — a different pressure port, a custom cable length, an alternate output signal — we flag that up front. In most cases we can still expedite around a minor customization; we just need to know early enough to plan the build sequence. And if 5-7 days still isn’t fast enough, call us — we’ll talk through what’s actually possible for your specific configuration and deadline.
Note that this is a ship date, not a delivery date. Transit time is separate, and if you need the part on your bench faster than ground shipping allows, we can arrange overnight or early-AM overnight delivery on top of the expedited build.
Explosion-proof and high-temperature rated products typically fall outside the scope of expediting. Contact factory.
Few manufacturers can offer expedited service because their ability to do so is gated by things outside their control — offshore assembly, lack of low-volume production setup, or sensor designs that require long-lead custom tooling for every variant. The Core Sensors Difference:
How do I place an expedited order?
Contact us with the configuration you need. We’ll confirm parts availability and the expedite fee, then you place the order and we build it against the agreed timeline.
Can I ship using my own UPS or FedEx account?
Yes. We’re happy to ship on your account number if you’d rather handle freight through your existing carrier relationship.
Does the 5-7 business day window include transit time?
No — that’s our build and ship timeline. If you need the part faster once it ships, we offer overnight and early-AM overnight shipping options.
What if 5-7 days still isn’t fast enough for my schedule?
Call us. Every situation is different, and we’d rather talk through your specific configuration and deadline than tell you no over email.
Can you expedite explosion-proof pressure transducers?
While we can reduce the lead time of an explosion-proof pressure transducer, we do use an outside process which adds to the overall build time. Contact us with the configuration and desired date and we will review what we can do.
Do you stock pressure transducers?
Yes, we have a limited stock of pressure transducers, although the variety of available configurations makes stocking a challenge. We’ve found our flexibility to expedite an exact match or close match is valuable to our customers. We’ll review our inventory first to see if there’s a match.
What should I do if I don’t see my process connection or electrical connection?
For pressure transducer process connections we stock some adapters and can make recommendations.
For electrical connections, we do stock mating cordsets and connectors for many of our electrical connections.
Can you cross-reference an existing pressure transducer?
Yes – send us all the information you have on the configuration. If a datasheet isn’t available pictures are very helpful that show the process connection, electrical connection, and the label information.
We think about expedited service as part of a longer relationship with engineering and procurement teams, not a transactional upcharge. Projects change. Schedules compress. Suppliers you’re counting on sometimes don’t come through. When that happens, we want to be the sensor partner you can call and get a straight answer from — not another vendor portal with a lead-time estimate that resets every time you refresh the page.
If you’re working through a BOM with tight timing constraints, our applications engineering team can review your configuration and give you a real expedited lead time before you commit. That’s the conversation we’d rather have than the one that starts after a schedule has already slipped.
Have a project with a hard deadline? Reach out to our applications engineering team with your pressure range, output type, and target date, and we’ll tell you exactly what’s possible. Contact our engineering team at [email protected] or call +1 (862) 245-2673. We’ll help you evaluate the tradeoffs and specify the optimal solution for your specific requirements.
