About the Turck Minifast Cordset
The Turck Minifast cordset connects the sensor to the display/data acquisition instrumentation and transmits the output signal. These cable assemblies allow for plug and play installation without the need to solder, crimp or overmold cable. These cordsets easily mate with Core Sensors electrical connection option “H”. Cordset + Lock-Mini
When installing a Class I, Division 2 pressure transducer configured with a Turck Minifast electrical connector, a Lokfast guard is required to maintain the hazardous area approval. The Lokfast guard is placed over the connection between the pressure transducer and the Turck Minifast cordset, locking the connection in place. A tool must then be used to remove the Lokfast guard.
