About the Vent Tube Breather Plug
Our vent tube breather plug is designed to be installed directly onto the vent tube of a pressure transducer. It features a GoreTex plug that is designed to keep moisture out, but permit venting of atmospheric pressure changes through the vent tube and directly to the sensor housing. Installation is simple, by simply inserting the vent tube into the plug with a press-fit seal. The vent tube breather plug can be used in outdoor or indoor environments, with the intent of preventing moisture and humidity from reaching the electronics of the pressure transducer. This can be useful in both submersible and non-submersible applications where moisture and humidity are present.
