Wet / Wet – From 0.5 to 1,000 PSID
The CS14 series compact industrial wet/wet differential pressure transducer uses a 316L stainless steel media isolated sensor element with excellent stability over a wide operating temperature range for use with various liquids and gases. Other materials, such as gold-plating or Hastelloy C276, are available for applications such as hydrogen, various water types or liquids and gases needing higher corrosion resistance (contact factory).
Measurement pressures can be configured from 0.5 PSI (35 millibar/3.5 kpa) up to 1,000 PSI (70 bar), covering various applications including low-pressure flow and filtration measurements. Line pressures for the CS14 DP can be configured as high as 1,000 PSI (70 bar), too. Mechanically, this is a robust design with high sensitivity to measure extremely low pressures. Using a differential pressure transducer offers higher resolution and accuracy versus two independent pressure transducers.
4-20mA and voltage output signals are available. These can be transmitted through various electrical connections including cable, circular connectors, and MIL-spec rated connectors.

Utilizing a fully welded design without any internal O-rings or seals, this product can be used for wet/wet, wet/dry, or dry/dry applications.
Differential pressures are available as low as 0.5 PSID (14″ water column) all the way up to 1,000 PSID, in both uni-directional and bi-directional, making the CS14 an excellent solution for a wide variety of applications.

A differential pressure transducer measures the difference in pressure from P1 to P2 using two diaphragms and process connections. This provides higher accuracy than two independent pressure transducers when measuring filtration, level, or flow.
In a bi-directional differential pressure transducer, the output signal midpoint is set to 0 PSID and the measurement range is equal on either side. For example, a ±5 PSID range with 4-20mA output would set -5 PSID to 4mA, 0 PSID to 12mA, and +5 PSID to 20mA. This is common for applications with bi-directional flow or vacuum pressure measurement.
Differential pressure transducers are commonly used in: filter monitoring to detect clogging or blockages, level measurement in closed containers, flow rate measurement by calculating the pressure drop across a primary element, and safety-critical systems to monitor pressure differences that could indicate potential hazards.
Contact Core Sensors. While M12x1 and cable electrical connections are standard, the CS14 is available with other connection types including Packard, DT04, DIN, and MIL-spec connectors such as MIL-DTL-26482. Core can also customize the electrical connection and mechanical interface for OEM applications.

The CS14 series features four M4 threaded connections on the bottom of the housing that can be used for mounting. The process connection threads should be installed per the thread specification. The standard orientation of the transducer features the mounting holes facing down, where the installer can read the label left to right.
