The CS10T Pressure Temperature Transducer offers pressure and temperature measurements from a single device. This is a 2-in-1 Pressure and Temperature Transmitter reducing the mechanical and electrical footprint. Dual Pressure and Temperature Transducer Functionality
The CS10T offers dual output signals for both pressure and temperature, eliminating the need for multiple transducers and simplifying installation. The pressure and temperature outputs are independent of each other, allowing users to measure only pressure, only temperature, or both as needed.
Pressure Measurement: The CS10T utilizes MEMs silicon strain gages mounted to a stainless steel or nickel alloy sensing element. This technology is proven effective to produce accurate, repeatable results with long-term stability. Various process connections are available in 17-4PH, 316L SS or nickel alloy including Hastelloy C276 and Inconel 718 materials to match your liquid and gas compatibility requirements.
Temperature Measurement: The temperature measurement is made via a platinum RTD sensor mounted near the diaphragm of the sensing element. The resistance is then amplified to the configured output signal. This results in a reliable reference temperature measurement, helping users understand and control their process conditions in more detail.
Output Signal: The ASIC electronics offer dual analog voltage or 4-20mA loop powered output signals. Our signal conditioning ASIC converts the raw pressure temperature sensor signal data into accurate pressure and temperature readings.
Electrical Connections: Create a pressure temperature sensor designed to your environmental needs including IP-69 ratings. Electrical connectors include M12x1, Deutsch DT04-4P, 6-Pin Bayonet, and EN 175301-803 Forms A and C.

What is the pressure sensor technology used in the CS10T?

The process fluid or gas is completely isolated to the sensing element, free of welds, silicone oil, or O-rings. This combination creates an accurate, repeatable, and chemically compatible sensor design.

This allows for a reliable reference temperature measurement, helping users understand and control their process conditions in more detail. The temperature sensor output is amplified to a voltage or 4-20mA signal, making integration into a PLC or control system simple while also eliminating the need for external signal conditioning such as DIN rail mountable signal conditioners.
What types of liquids and gases can be measured with the CS10T pressure temperature sensor?
The CS10T pressure temperature sensor can measure a wide range of liquids and gases, thanks to its configurable design and multiple wetted material options. The choice of material depends on the specific liquid or gas being measured and the application requirements:
- 17-4 PH stainless steel: Suitable for many industrial applications, offering good corrosion resistance and high strength. It’s often used for measuring water, hydraulic fluid, oil, and various gases.
- 316L stainless steel: Provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments and applications involving water, mild chemicals, and various gases.
- Hastelloy C276 nickel alloy: Offers superior resistance to corrosion in extremely aggressive environments. It’s suitable for measuring highly corrosive chemicals, acids, seawater, and chlorine-containing fluids.
- Inconel 718 nickel alloy: Known for its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. It’s often used in aerospace, oil and gas, and other high-temperature applications.
What are the IP-rating options for the CS10T?
The CS10T offers a minimum IP65 rating, with the exact rating dependent on the electrical termination selected. This ensures protection against dust and water ingress in various industrial environments. Higher IP ratings can be achieved with specific electrical connections and utilizing our “sealed gage” pressure reference. The pressure temperature transducer is environmentally sealed internally to prevent moisture from penetrating the housing and electrical connection. Our recommendation is to combine the sealed gage reference with our metric M12 connector or 6-pin bayonet connector options for increased performance.

What are the options for snubber and 2X header?
For applications with high pressure transient conditions, Core Sensors offers added protection of the sensing element.
The snubber, or pressure restrictor, reduces the inside diameter of the sensing element to dampen pressure spikes or transient conditions. This is an added layer of protection to increase durability in hydraulic pressure measurement applications. This can dampen the response time, but protects the sensor.
Additionally, Core Sensors can offer our “2X header.” This essentially increases the diaphragm thickness of the sensing element thereby increasing the proof pressure to 4X the operating pressure range.
Can I customize the CS10T pressure temperature transducer?
Yes, the CS10T offers many standard options within the ordering matrix, further customization is possible for OEM applications. Core Sensors prides itself on the ability to create custom pressure and temperature sensors for various applications. Customization can occur at the process connection, signal, performance, and electrical connection.
