Protection Against Water Hammer and Pressure Transients
To safeguard sensitive pressure sensors from damage caused by water hammer effects and pressure transients common in water pressure measurement applications, Core Sensors offers the ability to integrate a pressure snubber directly into the sensor’s process connection.
Pressure snubbers act as impulse dampeners by restricting fluid flow rates and smoothing out sudden pressure spikes, protecting the transducer from harmful rapid pressure changes that can degrade sensor performance and longevity.
